Am I There Yet? is a sculptural installation; 250 metres of thin paper with a single black pen line retracing the journey from Melbourne to Darwin. Each 10 metre roll is connected by a small piece of red thread. As well as a physical piece, ‘Am I There Yet?’ was also a performative piece, the act of drawing becoming a meditative, emotional experience.
